I'm going to be doing some French cross country travel later this month by TGV. Can anyone tell me if the carriages have power sockets?

AFAIK they do but only in first class, which is crap seeing as even our ageing fleet of trains has them in the intercity services.

Edit:

A quick google does indeed state first class only, however some sites stat 'more and more' trains now have electric sockets for laptops. I guess its going to be pot-luck.

Best advice is fully charge your stuff before boarding.
