Setam Val Thorens Tours Hi, next week (from Dec. 17th) all the lifts should be open, hopefully. It also depends on the weather conditions this coming week, as we expect some snowfalls. This week we will open gradually, as some runs must be safe (it takes time when you get 1 m of fresh snow in 3 days!). But it is mild for 2 days and the snow under 2000 m (only 2 half pistes in Val Thorens!) has already partially melted, and our only lift starting at 1800m (Plan de l'Eau) could not open.
Mmmmmelt?!?!?!

I hope to be skiing on the 24th December - & I think that's a brilliant idea! Even if there's no snow & I can't ski, I still think not being here is a brilliant idea!!

I can think of nothing worse than booking a ski holiday and not being able to ski. I'm sure you'll be fine though.Salski wrote:Tony_H wrote:I think the lesson to heed is to seriously consider whether pre Xmas skiing is a good idea.
