Can anyone recommend a label that makes ski clothing for curvy women?
Fed up with baggy salopettes, I'm looking for some stretchy or soft-shell ski pants. I like the look of the Brilliant pants from Salomon but as a rule I have always found them on the skimpy side size-wise.
Any women out there found some comfortable ski pants designed for curves greater than a size 16? :-)

Hi Julia
I have worn Toni Sailer ski pants and jackets for the last 5 seasons. Very fitted, stretchy and warm and comfortable. I am curvy went up to a 16 last year  - they still fit perfectly
Size 12 to 14 this year :D but they still fit. Expensive but have got my moneys worth skiing 3 weeks each Year in the one pair

Thanks Carol,
Just the sort of thing I'm looking for but can't imagine I'd convince my OH that £370 is worth it, I'm having trouble convincing myself.

Have you looked at anything from Haglofs? They make great women specific pants in soft shell and tech fabrics up to a European 46. Not cheap either but get what you pay for.

Colmar gear is excellent but pricey. My wife swears by foxy and a friend says surfanic are the only ones that fit her curves

Top Tip
Julia - convincing yourself will be easy if you follow these two simple steps.
1 - find the most expensive, most perfect, most amazing pair you can find, send the link to OH and say that "these are what I need [honorific/pet name of choice] but they are just too much"
2 - make sure you have found a very suitable and expensive (but not horiffic) alternative, suggest these instead. OH should be so relieved at just how frugal you are being that aquiescence to the purchase will immediately follow!
Should this tactic not work then the killer is to remind OH just how painful the ski holiday will be should you be reduced to wearing [existing pants/something totally unsuitable].
This will work - it is a tactic my OH has perfected over the years ....
