Living about as far west as you can go without getting your feet wet, cardiff is my preferred choice of airport, but when ever i look at the holiday sites(thomson ski, first choice today) there seems to be no flights going from cardiff!
Is this normal?? do they put the flights on as the season progresses?
I dont mind too much flying from bristol but bristol isnt showing oberau/neiderau.
I usually fly from cardiff with a late deal.
Cheers

It looks like they've cut all the flights from Cardiff this year. Must be a recession thing.

They probably got fed up with signing Contracts for services at Cardiff, then having no-one book and pay until the last minute )

Hi Moogy,
I probably live slightly further west than you do, as I can get my feet wet with a one mile walk to the beach. And I have similar problems with getting to the ski slopes.
In the past we have taken the train to Reading and gone on to Gatwick or driven to Bristol airport (150 miles and 3 hours). These days we usually take the train to London, stay with family, and then get the Eurostar direct in the morning to the Three Valleys etc.
But we've never flown out of Cardiff because there never seemed to be a flight when I wanted it going in the right direction.
Anyway, I had a look at the Bristol airport website, and there seem to be EasyJet flights to Innsbruck. I don't know how you get from Innsbruck to Niederau without a TO, but I'm sure Dave Mac does!
