Did anyone else waste their money going to the Scottish Ski Show (and Scottish outdoor show) at the SECC this weekend.....family of 4 with Parking £42.
Half of the stands were for general outdoor gear and the few decent ski stands that were there were so cramped you couldn't get in...
The downhill display was about 20 meters from the back corner - facing the back wall...no-one could see anything
Went along to buy a helmet, 2 jackets, 2 gloves, snow boots and whatever else...came back with a headache....
Really was hicksville.
A friend had a stand - he said it was an improvement on last year....can't imagine worse!
Next year I will know better....

You would think that they`d get their act together with the market being as it, skiers spend lots of money on holiday gear.Hubby getting new boots this weekend if he behaves himself.

I complained several times on their website, along with others. My complaint was not so much about the content, I didn't go there for that, I went to meet up with people that I know.
The entry ticket could be validated for a free lift pass for a Scottish ski resort, however, they neglected to say you had to endure a fairly lengthy queue or two to get the said lift pass. I felt that half an hour in a queue was not what our guide dog trainee should have to suffer.
