Another thread has just got me thinking about the average cost of a ski holiday which, I'm sure, is more than I would ever pay. But then I thought it would be good to see who managed the cheapest holiday last year, so the rest of us can get some ideas.

Who's going to start? I don't think mine will count.

Right, here we go prices worked out in pounds sterling at a rate of 1.10 euro to the pound for a seven night trip .....

Catered Chalet ...£997

Lift passes .........£655

Ski Lessons ........£145

Ski Hire ..............£42

Cash................. £300

Meet & Greet .....£52

Total..................£2191

Flights supplied by that nice Mr Airmiles ..... :wink:

Airmiles or not I'm sure there will be much cheaper than that!

Quite cheap here:
flight bout : £45
Lift Pass :171 Euros

No accommodation as stayed at boyfriends place in Megeve.

Thats pretty cheap ... wish I had a boyfriend who had a place in the alps :wink:

Its only a tiny studio apartment but adequate.
If anyone want to rent it out for about £400 for a week let me know.
Its one room with bunk beds and pull out double futone, balcony, kitchenette and bathroom.

I did 3 days in Chamonix in the Spring for very little money.

Accomm €150
Pass € 66
Meals € 40

The real costs of my skiing in Grimentz are eye watering and best not even contemplated :shock:

£400 pounds for in your words a "Tiny Studio" ........ Blimey I think I might buy a couple of "Tiny Studios" to rent :lol: :lol:
