Just wondering if anyone knows what the snow conditions are like in La Clusaz France. We are heading out there on the 3rd of April and praying we will be able to ski??

We were booked for 7th April, but just had an email from the hotel saying that they are closing early. They've had a very bad season.

When are you going Tropicana? Eggman is currently in St.Gervais & has been skiing in Les Contamines today & heading to Chamonix tomorrow. I can ask where the best conditions are.
The plan is.... there's no plan!

Hi, came back from La Clusaz a couple of weeks ago and it was ok. Best bet is to go up to La Balme, the snow was excellent but it did start to get busy as the lower areas suffered. You could still ski down to resort level but it was very slushy towards the bottom. You should still find enough skiing to keep you entertained for a week. Take lots of money its a very expensive resort!!!

La Balme sector is all still open and skiing very well - and has recent top ups of fresh snow (above 1900m mid station). Aguille and Cret de Loup also all open and a good enough coverage. The links and runs back down to the village are still open (just) but they are sketchy in places and suffering.... You will be able to ski, and Balme has some good conditions... just a shame that with this bizarre season you won't get to enoy the full extent of the resort!
