Relatively untouched by skiers until recent years, Veysonnaz is today one of the key resorts in the Four Valleys circuit. New development has not been allowed to spoil the traditional Valasian mountain village character. Located next to Mayens de l'Ours, a traditional village on the outskirts of the Four Valleys ski area. A long ski across to reach the Verbier hub of the region.

Veysonnaz

The Swiss ski resort of Veysonnaz is part of the Four Valleys Ski Area with access to 412km of downhill skiing, with 205 individual pistes, served by 92 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Veysonnaz itself (55km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Four Valleys ski resorts of Bruson, Evolène, La Tzoumaz, Nendaz, Siviez, Thyon les Collons and Verbier. Veysonnaz is directly linked by Ski Lift to the ski areas of Siviez.

With skiing above 2000 metres, snow cover is generally reliable.

Snowmaking :- Veysonnaz is able to augment natural snow, on 10km of ski runs, with 36 Snow Cannons.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 11 Ski Lifts of Veysonnaz are able to uplift 10,000 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There are three airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Veysonnaz are perfectly feasible. Sion Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
