Saas Grund

The Swiss ski resort of Saas Grund is part of the Saastal ski area with access to 56 individual pistes. In addition to the skiing in Saas Grund itself 85pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Saastal ski resorts of Saas Almagell and Saas-Fee.

The ski resort itself is above 1500m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With pistes above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

Snowmaking :- Saas Grund is able to augment natural snow, on 25km of ski runs, with 14 Snow Cannons.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 6 Ski Lifts of Saas Grund are able to uplift 11,000 skiers / snowboarders per hour.
