The Swiss ski resort of Lenzerheide - Valbella (in Grisons) has direct access to 155km of downhill skiing, with 58 individual pistes, served by 40 ski lifts.
With pistes above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

Skiing in Lenzerheide - Valbella
Lenzerheide has been constantly upgrading its uplift facilities. Two new six seater chairs were followed by an underpass in Parpan and a new quad chair for the FIS Ski Worldcup Finals held in the resort. The area, with nearly 160km (100 miles) of lift-linked trails can also claim to have some of the most modern lift infrastructure in Switzerland, as the chairs include four quads and three six-seater chairss. The skiing is fast and interesting with the area split up on both east and west sides of the valley.
The east-facing Danis has a top elevation of 2323m - that's about 500m lower than the west facing mountain's. But Danis has the majority of the slopes and a lot more variety. Luckily, you don't have to choose between any of them; you can ski in a circle around the valley (with a few minutes walk on the bottom). Lenzerheide has a total of 155km alpine pistes as well as more than 50km of prepared cross-country tracks.
The snow cover in the area is usually good but during warm and sunny days it might be a little less. Lenzerheide is developing their artificial snow systems to cover more slopes. On higher altitudes (1800m above sea level and higher) natural snow is assured. Lenzerheide has Switzerland's longest illuminated run for night skiing. The Taeli slope on Alp Staetz is floodlit every Friday evening from December to March.
Snowboarding in Lenzerheide - Valbella
The new snow park on Alp Statz contains straight boxes, down boxes, kickers and floaters, which means added thrills for snow boarders and free skiers. On Alp Statz, a topnotch team of snow-architects - or shapers - are creating a model project in snow park design maintenance.
To ensure quality at all times, the shapers are charged with maintaining optimum conditions in the snow park each day throughout the winter season.

Lenzerheide's apres ski revolves mainly around it numerous hotels. The Cinema Club in th hotel Kurhaus Alpina is one of the popular meeting places although there are several busy bars. For chilling try tyhe lounge or coffee bar in the hotel Schweizerhof.
