Chandolin

The Swiss ski resort of Chandolin is part of the Sierre-Anniviers ski area with access to 80 individual pistes. In addition to the skiing in Chandolin itself 99pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Sierre-Anniviers ski resorts of Grimentz, St-Luc, Vercorin and Zinal.

The ski resort itself is above 1500m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With pistes above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

Snowmaking :- Chandolin is able to augment natural snow, on 25km of ski runs, with 20 Snow Cannons.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 14 Ski Lifts of Chandolin are able to uplift 11,000 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There is an airport within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Chandolin are perfectly feasible. Sion Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Snowboarding in Chandolin

Snowboard park is in St Luc next to the Tignousa lift. It features jumps, rails, box, wall ride and music played. There's also a rest and relation area next to the park.
