Bourg-St-Pierre, Switzerland (1910m to 2800m)

Five kilometres (three miles) before the entrance to the St Bernard Tunnel lies the peaceful village of Bourg - St - Pierre. The Super St Bernard ski area is right by the tunnel entrance. The single chair climbs almost 900 metres to deliver wonderful red and black descents. There are also off piste routes up to 10km long down over the border to Italy with a bus service back through the tunnel.
