Watles

The Italian ski resort of Watles is part of the Ortler Skiarena Area with access to 123 individual pistes. In addition to the skiing in Watles itself (18km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Ortler Skiarena ski resorts of Haideralm, Latsch Tarscheralm, Maseben, Mendel Ruffrè, Meran 2000, Pfelders, Reinswald, Rittner Horn, Schnalstal, Schöneben, Schwemmalm, Sulden am Ortler, Trafoi am Ortler, Vigiljoch and Minschuns.

The ski resort itself is above 1500m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With skiing above 2000 metres, snow cover is generally reliable.

Snowmaking :- Watles is able to augment natural snow, on 18km of ski runs,.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 3 Ski Lifts of Watles are able to uplift 3,300 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There are two airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Watles are perfectly feasible.
