Vigiljoch
The Italian ski resort of Vigiljoch is part of the Ortler Skiarena Area with access to 123 individual pistes. In addition to the skiing in Vigiljoch itself (5km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Ortler Skiarena ski resorts of Haideralm, Latsch Tarscheralm, Maseben, Mendel Ruffrè, Meran 2000, Pfelders, Reinswald, Rittner Horn, Schnalstal, Schöneben, Schwemmalm, Sulden am Ortler, Trafoi am Ortler, Watles and Minschuns.
There are three airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Vigiljoch are perfectly feasible. Bolzano Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
