Pampeago is the access point for skiing above the old town on Tesero. There is a restaurant at the base station, which takes skiers in to the Ski Centre Latemar area. There are 2 - 3 Star hotels in the area as well as a sports and rental shop.

Alpe di Pampeago

The Italian ski resort of Alpe di Pampeago is part of the Val di Fiemme Ski Area with access to 123 individual pistes. In addition to the skiing in Alpe di Pampeago itself (16 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Val di Fiemme ski resorts of Alpe Cermis, Bellamonte - Alpe Lusia, Cavalese, Latemar, Passo Lavazè - Oclini and Passo Rolle.

The ski resort itself is above 1500m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With skiing above 2000 metres, snow cover is generally reliable.

Snowmaking :- Alpe di Pampeago is able to augment natural snow, on 43km of ski runs, with 108 Snow Cannons.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 7 Ski Lifts of Alpe di Pampeago are able to uplift 8,500 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There are three airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Alpe di Pampeago are perfectly feasible. Bolzano Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
