Münstertal, Germany (1100m to 1250m)
The Munstertal ski area, beneath the imposing rock known as Belchen (1414 metres) combines an almost Alpine setting with typical Black Forest scenery. There are long ski runs on Heidstein and Hohtann, the latter also a cross country centre, with reliable snow thanks to its 1100 metre elevation.
