Jungholz has expanded and upgraded in recent years, adding two quad chairlifts and more than 70% snow making cover and a night skiing piste. The ski area is right next to the village and as well as a good range of ski runs, there's an excellent children's snow park.

Jungholz

The German ski resort of Jungholz has direct access to 10 individual pistes, served by 6 ski lifts.

The skiing is at relatively low altitude, so snow cover can be variable.

Snowmaking :- Jungholz is able to augment natural snow, on 4km of ski runs, with 11 Snow Cannons.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 6 Ski Lifts of Jungholz are able to uplift 7,200 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There are six Airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Jungholz are perfectly feasible. Basel Airport and Memmingen Airport are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
