A health resort located in the midst of dense forests. A gondola lifts skiers up the Bocksberg mountain. There is a natural pond for ice skating in the middle of the village.

Hahnenklee
The German ski resort of Hahnenklee is part of the Harz Ski Area with access to 13 individual pistes. In addition to the skiing in Hahnenklee itself (5km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Harz ski resorts of Sankt Andreasberg / Sonnenberg and Schulenberg.
The skiing is at relatively low altitude, so snow cover can be variable.
