There are two ski areas accessible from Blaichbach, Ofterschwang and Gunzesried. Gunzesried opens up five miles of runs, half of which has snow making cover. There's a terrain park area and boarder cross course for boarders and a Ski kindergarten in the Gunzesried-Säge for youngsters. The area is part of the Allgau ski card 'Super snow' - the largest in Germany and also including resorts over the border in the neighboring Tyrol and Kleinwalsertal.
