Puyvalador
The French ski resort of Puyvalador is part of the Neiges Catalanes Ski Area with access to 203 individual pistes. In addition to the skiing in Puyvalador itself (16 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Neiges Catalanes ski resorts of Bolquère Pyrénées 2000, Cambre d'Aze, Cerdagne Puigmal, Font Romeu, Formiguères, La Quillane, Les Angles and Porté Puymorens.
The ski resort itself is above 1500m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With skiing above 2000 metres, snow cover is generally reliable.
Snowmaking :- Puyvalador is able to augment natural snow, on 3km of ski runs, with 25 Snow Cannons.
Ski Lift Capacity :- The 9 Ski Lifts of Puyvalador are able to uplift 7,000 skiers / snowboarders per hour.
