A purpose built centre, not dissimilar in design to Arc 1800. The skiing is mostly below the (high) tree-line on north-facing slopes and is an intermediate's paradise. Trails are up to 3km long. Lift-linked to the tiny village of Albanne which has a single drag lift

Les Karellis

The French ski resort of Les Karellis has direct access to 28 individual pistes, served by 16 ski lifts.

The ski resort itself is above 1500m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With pistes above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

Snowmaking :- Les Karellis is able to augment natural snow, on 5km of ski runs, with 17 Snow Cannons.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 16 Ski Lifts of Les Karellis are able to uplift 13,550 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There are six Airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Les Karellis are perfectly feasible. Chambery Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
