Rectangular shaped purpose-built resort in the huge and uncrowded Les Sybelles Ski Area. Long popular with the French, much of the skiing is above the tree line. The resort has been designed for maximum convenience and with everything to hand. Traffic free, Le Corbier has a shopping arcade and childrens' facilities.

Le Corbier

The French ski resort of Le Corbier is part of the Les Sybelles ski area with access to 220 individual pistes. In addition to the skiing in Le Corbier itself (75km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Les Sybelles ski resorts of Albiez Montrond, La Toussuire, Les Bottières, St Colomban des Villards, St Jean d'Arves and St Sorlin d'Arves.

The ski resort itself is above 1500m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With pistes above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

Snowmaking :- Le Corbier is able to augment natural snow, on 10km of ski runs, with 170 Snow Cannons.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 22 Ski Lifts of Le Corbier are able to uplift 28,000 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There is an airport within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Le Corbier are perfectly feasible.
