Formiguères
The French ski resort of Formiguères is part of the Neiges Catalanes Ski Area with access to 203 individual pistes. In addition to the skiing in Formiguères itself (17 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Neiges Catalanes ski resorts of Bolquère Pyrénées 2000, Cambre d'Aze, Cerdagne Puigmal, Font Romeu, La Quillane, Les Angles, Porté Puymorens and Puyvalador.
The ski resort itself is above 1500m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With skiing above 2000 metres, snow cover is generally reliable.
Snowmaking :- Formiguères is able to augment natural snow, on 6km of ski runs, with 2 Snow Cannons.
Ski Lift Capacity :- The 7 Ski Lifts of Formiguères are able to uplift 5,000 skiers / snowboarders per hour.
