Cambre d'Aze - Ski Resort in Neiges Catalanes, French Pyrenees (1640m to 2300m)

A tiny ski centre with a population of around 30, all dedicated to the ski holiday experience! The resort is well positioned at altitude, next to larger resorts, including a list link to St Pierre. There is still a good range of skiing locally and two hotels to choose from with more in the original village of Eyne down in the valley.

Cambre d'Aze

The French ski resort of Cambre d'Aze is part of the Neiges Catalanes ski area with access to 203 individual pistes. In addition to the skiing in Cambre d'Aze itself 97pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Neiges Catalanes ski resorts of Bolquère Pyrénées 2000, Cerdagne Puigmal, Font Romeu, Formiguères, La Quillane, Les Angles, Porté Puymorens and Puyvalador.

The ski resort itself is above 1500m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With skiing above 2000 metres, snow cover is generally reliable.

Snowmaking :- Cambre d'Aze is able to augment natural snow, on 9km of ski runs, with 162 Snow Cannons.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 17 Ski Lifts of Cambre d'Aze are able to uplift 8,000 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There is an airport within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Cambre d'Aze are perfectly feasible.
