Autrans - Ski Resort in French Alps - 18km of Piste (1050m to 1650m)

A small mountain town on the western fringe of the Alps. A major cross-country centre and a home to the French Nordic Skiing Championships, the 1968 Olympic events were staged here and there's an annual race of 7 - 10,000 cross-country skiers. There are also facilities for ski jumping, dog-sledding and ice skating. Safe Alpine skiing, child-friendly, wide trails cut through woods, avalanche-safe.

Autrans

The French ski resort of Autrans has direct access to 18km of downhill skiing, with 15 individual pistes, served by 16 ski lifts.

The ski resort itself is above 1500m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 16 Ski Lifts of Autrans are able to uplift 16,500 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There are four Airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Autrans are perfectly feasible. Grenoble Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
