Fly in to the ice runway or drive up and park on the same frozen lake. The lifts ascend from the very edge with mainly intermediate grade pistes criss-crossing the valley side. The Hotelli Tahkovuori provides much of the accommodation and resort facilities. There are 600km of snowmobiling trails in the area.
