The highest small town in Central Europe, Bozi Dar, started life like Aspen, as a silver mining settlement. Off slope options include equestrian sport and a luge course. There are four ski areas in the neighbourhood, including Oberwiesenthal over the border in Germany. Night skiing is also possible.
