The Austrian ski resort of Zauchensee is part of the Salzburger Sportwelt Ski Area with access to 138 individual pistes. In addition to the skiing in Zauchensee itself (65km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Salzburger Sportwelt ski resorts of Altenmarkt, Filzmoos, Flachau, Goldegg, Kleinarl, Radstadt, St. Johann-Alpendorf and Wagrain.
With skiing above 2000 metres, snow cover is generally reliable.
