The Austrian ski resort of Thierbach is part of the Wildschönau Ski Area with access to 65km of downhill skiing, with 50 individual pistes, served by 26 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Thierbach itself (1 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Wildschönau ski resorts of Auffach, Niederau and Oberau.

The skiing is at relatively low altitude, so snow cover can be variable.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 2 Ski Lifts of Thierbach are able to uplift 1,000 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There are two airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Thierbach are perfectly feasible. Innsbruck Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
