Höfen has two drag lifts by the village, but the main ski area, a short drive up the valley, will be the main attraction for more advanced skiers. The Reuttener Seilbahnen cable car ascends 1000 vertical metres and celebrated 50 years of operation in 2007. A new quad chairlift was installed next to it a few years ago to increase capacity and speed up the mountain. Both lifts access a snowbowl above the treeline with a vast choice of on and off piste routes for skiers and boarders of all ability levels.

The Austrian ski resort of Reutte has direct access to 18km of downhill skiing, with 21 individual pistes, served by 10 ski lifts.

Snowmaking :- Reutte is able to augment natural snow, on 5km of ski runs, with 60 Snow Cannons.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 10 Ski Lifts of Reutte are able to uplift 8,000 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There are four airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Reutte are perfectly feasible. Innsbruck Airport and Memmingen Airport are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
