The region is stunningly beautiful with the Zillert Valley peaks towering above and attracting year round tourist interest. Skiers and boarders can visit year round too thanks to skiing on the Tuxertal glacier.

Hippach

The Austrian ski resort of Hippach is part of the Zillertal ski area with access to 91 individual pistes. In addition to the skiing in Hippach itself 117ski lifts), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Zillertal ski resorts of Fügen, Mayrhofen and Tux - Finkenberg. Hippach is directly linked by Ski Lift to the ski areas of Mayrhofen.

With skiing above 2000 metres, snow cover is generally reliable.

Snowmaking :- Hippach is able to augment natural snow, on 50km of ski runs, with 117 Snow Cannons.
