The region is stunningly beautiful with the Zillert Valley peaks towering above and attracting year round tourist interest. Skiers and boarders can visit year round too thanks to skiing on the Tuxertal glacier.

Hippach

The Austrian ski resort of Hippach is part of the Zillertal Ski Area with access to 91 individual pistes. In addition to the skiing in Hippach itself (45 ski lifts), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Zillertal ski resorts of Finkenberg, Fügen, Hintertux and Mayrhofen. Hippach is directly linked by Ski Lift to the ski areas of Mayrhofen.

With skiing above 2000 metres, snow cover is generally reliable.

Snowmaking :- Hippach is able to augment natural snow, on 50km of ski runs, with 117 Snow Cannons.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 45 Ski Lifts of Hippach are able to uplift 78,820 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There are three airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Hippach are perfectly feasible. Innsbruck Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
