Gargellen

The Austrian ski resort of Gargellen is part of the Montafon Ski Area with access to 44 individual pistes. In addition to the skiing in Gargellen itself (36km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Montafon ski resort of St Gallenkirch.

With skiing above 2000 metres, snow cover is generally reliable.

Snowmaking :- Gargellen is able to augment natural snow, with 50 Snow Cannons.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 8 Ski Lifts of Gargellen are able to uplift 8,400 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There are four airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Gargellen are perfectly feasible.
