Part of the Dachstein West ski region, with lift links to Gosau and Russbach, and a free ski bus to other centres (Abtenau, St Martin ). The Dachstein Glacier is 30 minutes away. Annaberg's ski school operates a ski kindergarten and teaches cross-country and snowboarding.

Annaberg

The Austrian ski resort of Annaberg is part of the Dachstein West Ski Area with access to 97 individual pistes. In addition to the skiing in Annaberg itself (11km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Dachstein West ski resorts of Abtenau, Gosau, Katrin - Bad Ischl, Krippenstein, Obertraun/Dachstein and Rußbach.

Snowmaking :- Annaberg is able to augment natural snow, with 100 Snow Cannons.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 7 Ski Lifts of Annaberg are able to uplift 9,000 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There are three airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Annaberg are perfectly feasible.
