Perisher Blue to open tomorrow
Mt. Perisher to open tomorrow
After 25 centimetres of fresh snow in the last two days, Mt. Perisher is expected to open for skiing and snowboarding on Thursday for the first time this season!
These lifts will give skiers and snowboarders access to more terrain, including Towers Run which is suitable for intermediate to advanced snow-riders.
Mt. Perisher is the tallest peak in Perisher Blue and now guests can experience top to bottom skiing and boarding on an excellent cover of natural snow from the top of the Mt. Perisher Double Chair, the highest lifted point in the resort.
“Mt. Perisher is a favourite haunt of many of Perisher Blue’s visitors, said Gary Grant, General Manager of Marketing and Hospitality. “The added terrain will give skiers and snowboarders more options alongside the great turns to be had on the Excelerator and Zali’s runs at Blue Cow.
A total of 37 lifts, including Eyre T-Bar, Mt. Perisher Double Chair and Mt. Perisher Triple Chair across four resort areas
are expected to open tomorrow – more lifts than any other resort in Australia. The snow cover is in good condition after
the recent falls and more is expected this weekend.
