Tour operator Discover the World is introducing the ski resorts of Riksgränsen and Bjorkliden, two of the world’s northernmost ski resorts located in the Swedish Arctic to its Swedish Lapland programme. Launched this month, the resorts offer plenty of skiing and snowboarding opportunities, as well as excellent cross-country trails.
Bjorkliden, a fairly undiscovered ski spot for Brits having never been featured by a UK tour operator before, is a good choice for beginners and families with gentle slopes and a KidsZone club. The more adventurous should head to Riksgränsen where they’ll find Europe’s best value heli-skiing and off-piste action. You can ski as late as June under the midnight sun at Riksgränsen.
