Ski Weather Site stays owner-run
A popular Snow Forecasting web site in the States has turned away investors to remain run by its founder.
Ski Press World reports that Jim Roemer, also known as Dr. Weather, has decided to not sell his ski weather site, bestskiweather.com, to a group of investors.
“I just love skiing and weather too much�, Dr. Weather said. “I figured that if I sell the ski site and am not involved in the forecasting, what good is the site with flashy maps and graphics, if I am not the one at the helm doing the forecasting?�
