White Easter for Formigal

The Aramon resort in the central Spanish Pyrenees is now blanketed with the white stuff, thanks to the snow fall of the past week, and is operating at nearly full capacity.
As of last Thursday 97 of the resort’s 106km were open, allowing snow lovers to ski and board through the resort’s four valleys and enjoy the Spanish springtime sun.
The arrival of this new snow is just in time for Easter and there’s still time to book a trip to Formigal by visiting www.aramon.co.uk
Thick, powdery snow and pistes for all tastes and levels ensure something for everyone at Formigal with a total of 77 pistes as of tomorrow; six green, 18 blue, 28 red, 24 black as well as the free ride zone.
The maintenance teams at the resort are working round the clock to open more pistes in time for Easter.
Formigal, part of Spain’s largest ski group Aramon, is a modern, efficient resort having enjoyed investment of €33 million this season alone and boasts the country’s only eight-seater chairlift.
