New Zealand Snow Shows Promise

Decent snowfalls hint at a good start for the New Zealand Ski Season. Mtruapehu.com report a metre or more of snow for the Whakapapa and Turoa Ski Areas on Mt Ruapehu, New Zealand.

And Snow Co report that snowmaking is now under way at Mt Hutt, New Zealand with “superb early winter conditions” described.

The Mount Ruapehu resorts are due to open on the 16th June and Mount Hutt on the 10th.
