New lift for Passo Tonale gives 2km vertical
As reported by SkiPressWorld, a new lift to be opened this coming season will complete the link between the ski areas of Passo Tonale and Ponte di Legno.

The completed link will mean a combined ski area of 100km (62 miles) and perhaps more significantly one of the world’s biggest lift served verticals from the top of Tonale’s glacier, one of the few remaining summer ski areas in the Europe, above 3000m, and Ponte di Legno’s lowest at 1,154m – a near 1,850m vertical.
