Charlotte Pass Sold
ABC report the sale of Charlotte Pass, Australia’s highest ski resort.
Australia’s highest ski resort, in the Snowy Mountains, has been sold to a Cooma-based business consortium.
Snowy Mountains Resorts announced last night that it has bought Charlotte Pass Village after receiving approval from the State Environment Department.
The deal includes the historic 1930s Kosciusko Chalet Hotel and the Oversnow Transport Company.
From the Charlotte Pass website :-
At 1760 metres, Charlotte Pass Village is the highest resort in Australia and is snowbound for most of the ski season. There are no cars or buses, nor are there long queues for the ski lifts, which are right on our doorstep, so you get more time to ski and snowboard.
With relatively few people holidaying in the village, the snow stays fresh and crisp longer.
