Graham Bell swaps skis for pedals and heads UP-hill
In two weeks time Graham Bell, former Olympic Skier, will join a small group of cyclists in a marathon 7-day bike ride from the South of France all the way to London.
No, it’s not just because it’s cheaper than a budget airline, or to prove his Green Credentials - it’s all for the good causes supported by the Octopus Challenge.
“I’m a glutton for punishment, but this will be my toughest challenge yet. 7 Days n the saddle riding from the south of France to Notting Hill. I will be one of 12 riders in this event and if we succeed in raising our sponsorship target for this event, we will raise enough money to fund a paediatric nurse at The Shooting Star Children’s Hospice in 2007.”
