Tour operator Discover the World is introducing the ski resorts of Riksgränsen and Bjorkliden, two of the world’s northernmost ski resorts located in the Swedish Arctic to its Swedish Lapland programme. Swiss International Airlines (Swiss) have added a new route, in time for the ski season, between Manchester and Geneva.
A weekly flight will operate every Sunday from December 16, departing Geneva at 10.40am and arriving in Manchester at 11.50am. The return fight will leave the UK at 12.30pm and arrive back in Geneva at 3.40pm.

Astraeus Flystar has announced new ski flights, to start this winter, between London Gatwick and Chambery, France.
Services will run on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays (two flights per day at weekends) - from December to April - with fares starting at £142 return including taxes, fees and charges.
