Yesterday saw the sixth World Cup ski cross event this season take place in glorious sunshine in Grindelwald (Switzerland). Mario Scheiber out of the World Cup finals

Austrian skier Mario Scheiber is out for the rest of the World Cup season after damaging his left shoulder in a training crash. Scheiber tore some shoulder ligaments yesterday in Maria Alm and was expected to undergo surgery in a Salzburg hospital

Steve Omischl wins men’s aerials World Cup competition

Steve Omischl (Canada) won the season’s crown in men’s aerials with a victory yesterday at the World Cup freestyle skiing competition in Moscow.
