Zoe Gillings seventh in World Cup series

Zoe Gillings claimed seventh place (out of 55) in the women’s snowboard cross World Cup standings. This was despite the fact that a knee injury forced her to pull out of the final round of the World Cup in Italy. She also came 21st (out of 168) in the overall snowboard World Cup standings.

Men’s Downhill Alpine Ski World Cup results

With the men’s final downhill race scheduled for Bormio (Italy) having been cancelled, so Didier Cuche (Switzerland) is the overall downhill crystal globe winner. Warm weather and fresh snow cover on the treacherous “Stelvio” course meant the training and race had to be cancelled.
