On-piste avalanches in the Brevent/Flegere ski area

Earlier this week there were two reports of on-piste avalanches in the Brevent/Flegere ski area (France). The first one occurred in Brevent, when a slide swept across the piste des Souces, taking a British woman with it. Fortunately, she was rescued immediately by a pisteur and helicoptered to Chamonix hospital suffering from spinal injuries.
