Solden street buried by avalanche

An avalanche has buried a street just outside Soelden ski resort in Austria. Luckily, no one was buried in the slide, which was as much as 4m deep in parts and was spread over a 100m stretch of road. Police have issued a statement saying that no people or vehicles were caught in the avalanche.

Gavarnie cut off by monster avalanche
