Indian Skiers qualify for Turin 2006

The Hindu reports that four Indian athletes, including one woman, have qualified for the 2006 Winter Olympic Games to be held at Turin, Italy.

Siva Kesavan (Luge), Hira Lal, Neha Ahuja (Alpine Ski) and Gupta Bahadur Gurung (Cross Country Ski) have qualified for the Winter Olympics and some other athletes have till December this year to make the cut, Winter Games Federation of India Col. N Kumar, told reporters.

We think that’s fantastic news and we’ll be watching and hoping for other lesser known skiing nations to qualify.
Can anyone provide us with some pictures of the Indian Ski Team in action? As a comment to this post please…
