British skiers Russell Docker, Sean Rose and Liz Miller have been selected as the first members of the GB squad for the 2006 Winter Paralympics. GB will also take a wheelchair curling team to Torino, but the individual team members are still to be selected.
Devon’s Docker, 38, was one of only two GB athletes who competed at the Salt Lake City Games in 2002.
Both Rose, from Northampton, and Miller, from Hampshire, will be making their Winter Paralympic debuts.
The three athletes are members of the British Adaptive Ski Team, which is run by national ski charity Disability Snowsport UK.
