WORLD’S BEST AT PERISHER BLUE
The cream of the world’s elite mogul competitors has again descended on Perisher Blue this August.
Five of the top 20 men and eight the top 20 women from the 2006 Winter Olympics finals, including gold medalist, Canada’s Jennifer Heil will be training at Perisher Blue in preparation for the Land Rover Australian Moguls Championships August 19-20th.
Included is men’s world number two Alexandre Bilodeau from Canada and Women’s 2005 World Championship bronze medallist Aiko Uemura from Japan. Perisher Blue local Nick Fisher, 12th at Turin will also compete.
Perisher Blue has now become a favourite for international teams seeking international standard winter training facilities. Athletes from Finland, Sweden, Austria, Japan, Canada, Italy, Czech Republic and Korea will train and compete, along with Australia’s rising stars this season in Perisher Blue.
