Free skiing and boarding at the Fat Face Night Ski
It might still be an Indian summer, but if you’d like to get some free pre-season skiing or boarding in then check out the Fat Face Night Ski at Castleford Xscape on 05 November.
Organised by Natives – the Season Workers’ website – there are 80 places available on ‘Fat Hour’ – two hours of free skiing or boarding on the indoor snow, usually costing £30.
Plus for beginners or low-intermediates, there’s free lessons in the ‘Fat Academy’ with hour long lessons for up to 32 people from Xscape’s qualified instructors.
Rental equipment is provided free of charge, plus there’s a Natives Show Love Party later on in the bar, with prizes including free flights to Switzerland from Swiss International Air Lines.

And whether you ski or not, you can enjoy all the fun by checking out the action on a specially designed slopestyle course of kickers, rails and boxes as freestyle skiers and boarders hit the slope.
Action and snow are guaranteed as competitors fight it out for a massive prize purse, including £2000 in cash from title sponsor Fat Face.
The event will be the finale of the Fat Face Night Series and will kick off the season as the first leg of the Natives Challenge series, which later moves to Meribel and Val d’Isere.
